Saudi Finance Minister sees buy opportunity in the Stock Market

In a recent interview with the Al Arabiya television, Saudi Finance Minister Ibrahim Al Assaf said he “sees good opportunities in the market at the time being” and added that Saudi companies are “doing well.” Saudi shares have fallen sharply during the past two weeks, spooked by the spread of protests to the Persian Gulf region, but the Saudi public retirement fund and other government institutions have bought stocks recently and continue to do so. “I expect that the market will continue to see buying of stocks,” he said.
